We believe cattle thrive when they’re raised the right way—with open pasture, clean water, and balanced nutrition that supports natural growth and long-term health. Each day brings steady work, from early mornings to long hours in the field, all grounded in care and consistency. Our cattle reflect the same values and traditions that have guided Seamans Orchard for generations.
I took great pride in introducing Charolais genetics into our commercial Angus herd at Seamans Orchard, which has proven to be a tremendous asset. These crossbred calves consistently demonstrate the benefits of hybrid vigor, combining the strengths of both breeds to enhance overall herd performance. The result is a commercial calf crop with excellent growth rates, dependable calving ease, and heavier weaning weights — all while maintaining the maternal strengths and marketability our Angus-based program is known for.
